from Gather the Wind Around Me
There is a place
where nothing
a person
can say or do
can alter your love-
that place is the cross; that place is forgiveness.
There is a place
where no sorrow or pain
can take away your joy
or wash away your worship- that place is the cross;
that place is forgiveness.
I am covered by the blood,
covered by the blood of Jesus;
there is a place secured for me,
I am covered by the blood of Jesus, overflowing with God’s love for me.
